Materials
Stainless steel sourced from Germany is used as the raw material — selected for corrosion resistance, durability and sterilisation compatibility.
Manufacturing
Instruments are shaped in Türkiye with skilled craftsmanship. Form, tip and working surface are monitored throughout production.

Traceability

Materials
Stainless steel discipline
An instrument’s life starts with the material. SONOS uses stainless steel sourced from Germany for edge retention, corrosion resistance and repeated autoclave cycles.
Raw material
A surgical-grade stainless class that offers predictable hardness at cutting and shaping tips.
Heat treatment and finish
The right alloy is not enough. If heat treatment, grinding and polishing are not held to the same discipline, the material advantage is lost.
Sterilisation
Surfaces are prepared for repeated steam sterilisation. Chloride solutions and wet standing still require care.

Instrument Care
A post-sale care centre for correct use and trust. Content will expand in layers.
Cleaning
Organic residue should be cleaned before it dries on the instrument. Use a neutral cleaning regime consistent with manufacturer guidance.
Disinfection
After cleaning, disinfect with agents suitable for the instrument material. Avoid corrosive chemicals.
Sterilisation
Stainless-steel instruments are produced to be compatible with standard steam sterilisation protocols. Cycle parameters follow institutional protocol.
Maintenance
Check moving points on hinged and locking instruments. Instruments showing damage, cracks or corrosion should be withdrawn from use.
Storage
Store in dry, protected trays. Avoid prolonged contact between dissimilar metals and humid environments.
Inspection
Visually inspect the tip, lock and working surface before each cycle.
Service life
Correct cleaning, sterilisation and storage extend instrument life. Wear from intensive use is expected.
