Raw material
SONOS uses stainless steel sourced from Germany. This class offers predictable hardness at cutting and shaping tips, high corrosion resistance and compatibility with repeated sterilisation.
Heat treatment and finish
The right alloy is not enough on its own. If heat treatment, grinding and finishing are not held to the same discipline, the material advantage is lost. Steel selection is the first step of the line — not the only one.
