SONOS craftsmanship

SONOS is not a catalogue brand. It is a manufacturing culture that finishes tip geometry, balance and surface in skilled hands. Every instrument is treated as a tool that will be used in theatre.

• Hand finishing

  Grinding, tip definition and hinge setting are checked in the workshop. Even the same model can be thinned or sized to a surgeon’s preference.

• Family workshop

  Since 2016, manufacturing knowledge in Istanbul has moved from craftsman to craftsman. Material selection, forming and final inspection stay under one roof.

• Theatre standard

  Edge retention, lock security and form after sterilisation are how craft is measured. An unfinished instrument is not released.
